Kenya holiday vacation safari takes you to Tsavo East National Park. The wildlife tour starts from Mombassa and takes a duration of three days spending two nights in a lodge of choice. The tour can be done in a group(joining safaris) subject to availability or a private tour. The holiday safari tour may start from Mombasa City, Nyali beach, Malindi beach, Tiwi beach, Mombasa Port, Shanzu beach, Kilifi beach, Galu beach, Bamburi beach, Msambweni beach or Diani beach.
Three Days Tsavo East N/P Luxury Lodge Safari
Day One: Mombassa - Tsavo East National Park
Depart your hotel in the wee hours of the morning and drive for 2 hours from Mombassa town to Tsavo East Buchuma Gate. Have breakfast or refreshments then proceed on game viewing en route to the lodge. Lunch at the lodge and spend the afternoon at leisure probably swimming. Evening game drive searching for the "Red Elephants" including the other members of the big five, dinner and overnight at Voi Safari Lodge.
Day Two: Tsavo East National Park
After breakfast go for the morning game drive, Tsavo east is the biggest park in Kenya. Game to view include Hirola antelope, kongonis, leser kudus, oryxs, buffalos, elephants, lions among others. Dinner and overnight at Voi Safari Lodge. lunch at the lodge, spend the afternoon at leisure and later go for the evening game drive. Visit the Galana River and Rhino sanctuary created to protect rhinos from poachers. Dinner and overnight at Voi Safari Lodge.
Day Three: Tsavo East National Park - Mombassa
After breakfast have a final game drive for a chance to spot any game you might have missed previously, check out the lodge and depart. Drive to Mombassa, lunch en route arriving early evening. Transfer to your hotel.

Tsavo East accommodation comprises of lodges and Tented camps, this include Voi Safari Lodge, Kingfisher Tented Camp, Ndololo Tented Camp, Tarhi Eco Camp, Epiya Chapeya Tented Camp, Patterson's Safari Camp and Aruba Ashnil lodge. Amenities in the lodges include swimming pools, Conference centre, WiFi, Satellite TV and Gift shops. Luxury tented camps also lie in this category. The Camps are furnished and offer all or more amenities than the lodges. Some Tented camps are more luxurious than the lodges.
Tsavo East National park
Tsavo East National Park is one of the oldest and largest parks in Kenya covering an area of 11,747 square kilometers. The park is located near the village of Voi in the Taita-Taveta District of Coast Province and is divided into east and west sections by the A109 road and a railway. The park borders the Chyulu Hills National Park, and the Mkomazi Game Reserve in Tanzania. The climate in this area is warm and dry. One requires a smart card to access the park and the card can be topped up at Voi gate.
Attractions of Tsavo East National Park include "The Red Elephants". This effect is achieved from the wallowing and rolling in the galena river and spraying of the red soils of tsavo.
The beautiful Aruba dam located on the north bank of the seasonal Voi River, is visited by thousands of animals and a great game viewing point.
The Mudanda Rock
The Mudanda Rock is a 1.6 km inselberg of stratified rock that acts as a water catchment that supplies a natural dam below. It offers an excellent vantage point for the hundreds of elephants and other wildlife that come to drink during the dry season.
The Yatta Plateau, the world's longest lava flow, runs along the western boundary of the park above the Athi River. Its 290 km length was formed by lava from Ol Doinyo Sabuk Mountain.
Lugard Falls, named after Frederick Lugard, is actually a series of white water rapids on the Galana River
Tsavo East has vast amounts of diverse wildlife that can be seen, including the famous 'big five' consisting of lion, black rhino, cape buffalo, elephant and leopard. The park also is also home to a great variety of bird life such as the black kite, crowned crane, lovebird and the sacred bird.
Do's And Don'ts In The Game Reserves & National Park.
- Do not Litter the reserve/park.
- Do not feed the animals, i.e. monkeys or baboons.
- Do give the animals the right of way and do not disturb wildlife.
- Do not take any plant or animals remains, dead or alive.
- Do not start fires or throw cigarettes in the reserve.
- Do stay in your vehicle except at designated viewing points.
- Do not shout, laugh loudly, play radio or cassettes as this will keep away the animals.
- Do not provoke any animals its dangerous.
